To be eligible for the fee waiver, your business must have employees, and you must certify that you had an active retirement plan in place during 2026. This means you must have made at least one payroll-deducted contribution to at least one employee’s retirement account during calendar year 2026. If you meet this requirement, the $300 annual fee will be waived.
